April 10th Puerto Vallarta

We started our morning with a quick breakfast and a few pictures before we began our last day in Mexico.  Our first stop of the day was the beautiful Puerto Vallarta waterfront, before taking a brief walk to see the church of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  Our second stop was a candy shop and shopping area. We were treated to samples of some of the candy they make in the store. We didn't leave empty handed.  Once we had secured some sweet treats we headed up into the mountains, and our final stop of the day, the beautiful la Dulce Vista ranch.  At the ranch we had an extensive tequila tasting lesson. We learned how to identify good tequila vs. cheap tequila. We sampled 7 different types of tequila, without any fruit or salt, which surprised me.
