April 10th Puerto Vallarta
We started our morning with a quick breakfast and a few pictures before we began our last day in Mexico.
Our first stop of the day was the beautiful Puerto Vallarta waterfront, before taking a brief walk to see the church of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
Our second stop was a candy shop and shopping area. We were treated to samples of some of the candy they make in the store. We didn't leave empty handed.
At the ranch we had an extensive tequila tasting lesson. We learned how to identify good tequila vs. cheap tequila. We sampled 7 different types of tequila, without any fruit or salt, which surprised me. The tequila expert said "You don't need fruit to cover the taste of good tequila, you only need fruit to cover the taste of cheap, mass produced, tequila that is full of addictives and fillers."
After the tequila tasting we learned to make guacamole and two types of tequila mixed drinks.

That we enjoyed with our lunch of tacos, sliced pineapple, and jícama.
We also made friends with the two ranch puppies because OMG so sweet.
